Puppet Tea Party mit Stacey Gordon in Astoria

Puppeteer and performer Stacey Gordon (Julia on Sesame Street) leads this interactive workshop for all ages. Drink pretend tea, eat pretend pastries, make a real puppet craft, listen to a story, laugh, and play along as everyone enjoys the magic of puppetry! Borrow a puppet to use during the tea party or bring one of your own plush toys or puppet friends, and be prepared to giggle, dance, and laugh your way through teatime! Open to all ages, everyone in your group is encouraged to participate. Note that space is limited. Skills required: sitting in one place for up to 15 minutes, coloring, following one-step instructions, tolerating sound in a room of 40+ people of all ages, holding crayons, touching paper, body awareness, listening and being respectful of others’ space.
